How can we drop into creative space in the middle of chaos?

So much creative advice is about regimen and special set-ups. Lemon water and daily word count and almost none of it applies or is reasonable for mothers.

It can feel like motherhood and our creative expression are at odds.

Yet, Mothering is the ultimate creative act.

Creation is inherent to each of us, but our creative process can be elusive and completely reshaped in the process of motherhood. Our creative processes are also wholly individual, which is why generic advice doesn’t usually work.

In this workshop, we will come together to explore and carve space. We will explore our personal rhythms and conditions in which our creativity and soul work flow.

In creative, non-linear, and somatic ways, this workshop will include movement, writing, and dialogue to get underneath some of the obstacles so that you feel more space and more freedom to attend to your own generative impulses.

THIS WORKSHOP IS FOR YOU IF :

  • You feel stuck or frustrated because you have things that want to come out but you can’t get them out

  • You are mystified by how to get any mental space for yourself while mothering

  • You feel trapped by the format of social media and need to get back to your way
