A comprehensive 9 week certification program for women who desire to create, strengthen and lead circles of mothers using the MotherCircle format and curriculum.

We are living in a time where loneliness is
epidemic and community is distant.

We are living in a time where loneliness is epidemic and community is distant.

We are living in a time where loneliness is epidemic and community is distant.

We need villages to raise children, mothers and families – and village-mindedness is rare. The current structures do not support the deep longing we have to mother and be mothered in community. We are living out of alignment with the fundamental needs of humans for connection and togetherness.

And women especially suffer.

In a culture stripped of wisdom and rites of passages, we are invited back into connection with the oldest code.

Women gathering.

This moment is a powerful window of opportunity for repair. Together we’ll build the habits, structures and relationships that will sustain us, as mothers and leaders in our families and communities.

Has motherhood left you feeling isolated, disconnected and longing for community?

Do you know in your bones that there's a deeper, more connected pathway of wisdom for you and the mothers in your life or business?

Do you want to be part of creating MotherCulture on behalf of our ancestors, our children and generations to come?

You believe. You see.
You know.

You are here because you believe that the health of mothers matters, and that when mothers thrive, communities thrive.

You see that the cultural fabric is torn, especially in the postpartum time, and you want to do something about that.

You know that early mothering is a time ripe for maturation and self-discovery and you want to help reclaim that for women.

You know that we are not meant to do this alone and concentric circles of mothers supporting mothers is the answer.

What is Facilitator Training?

A comprehensive 9 week training and certificate program for women who desire to create, strengthen and lead circles of mothers in their in person or online communities using the Mother Circle format and curriculum.

With the MotherCircle curriculum as our guide, we will go through it week by week to ensure understanding of the foundational content, as well as practice and develop the facilitation skills you’ll need to teach and facilitate a group experience. "Kimberly facilitates with a grounding presence, and is so gifted in meeting the energy and diverse experiences of each group she leads. Her embodied presentation of the material invites us all to the depths and intimate layers of the motherhood journey together, like no other circle I’ve been in. She’s able to weave in dynamic guest speakers with such grace, models the power of a silent pause, and her laugh is infectious. I’m so grateful for MotherCircle and Kimberly’s passion behind it. I look forward to another round!"

In working with her, you receive a unique combination of more didactic forms of education, together with an embodied modeling of the material that’s intuitive, deeply authentic, and of great integrity.”

Got questions?

No. Mandatory attendance in the live MotherCircle course beginning April 4th, is required. Enrollment in MotherCircle Facilitator training includes automatic enrollment in the live MotherCircle course starting April 4th.

You will need an average of four to six hours a week minimum to dedicate to this offering. In order to teach, there is study involved. Not everything one studies becomes the class, but that is the foundational knowledge that takes us there. So we will give you resources to explore in the case that you are particularly interested or moved by one part of the content.

  • 75 minutes to watch the Mother Circle class.
  • 120 minutes for the Facilitator training.
  • Attend at least three Q&A practice sessions
  • Two to three hours of study, journaling and preparation
  • Attending all weekly sessions of the live MotherCircle Facilitator Training.

  • Attending at least three of the weekly practice facilitation sessions.

  • Answering the quiz questions each week after the live class in Thinkific.

  • A final paper that shares your learnings from the training and your intentions for leading groups through the MotherCircle curriculum.

Yes, absolutely. After you become a facilitator, this is open source information for you to use as you see fit, while crediting its origins. You may teach it virtually or in person. You may not rebrand it and teach it as your own.

No. You are welcome and encouraged to gather a group of friends or acquaintances to move through this experience together.

Yes, if you complete the course, quizzes and exit evaluation you will be a certified MotherCircle facilitator.

Part of this training will be about learning how to provide a safe and contained environment for all participants. You will learn how to establish group agreements and what to do when things veer off course. This will be a major theme of the training- how to sit in your seat as leader, to track individual experiences at the same time as tracking a group.

Each person will come to this training with different experience, affinity and expertise. You will be encouraged to lean on your strengths and we will offer you a number of ways to offer material, including playing audios or videos of Kimberly teaching.

Some of you will already have businesses and work that dovetails with this material already. Others of you are just getting started. By the end of the nine weeks, we will help you have a plan of how you will bring this into your world.

There will be an evaluation at the end of the course and you will have all the supportive information you need to begin. If you’ve never taught before, there will always be hesitation and anticipation. And the only way to get good at it is to practice. You will have a chance to practice teaching each week. That practice will help you to gain confidence.

No, you don’t have to be a mother to become a MotherCircle facilitator.

Many women can serve mothers and integrate the wisdom of the motherhood journey and offer it in a meaningful way.

It will be important to know that sessions and practices are unique to the experience of motherhood and you’ll have to feel comfortable relating with these from your own experience.

MotherCircle is a community of fierce mamas wrestling with many of the same big questions, challenges, struggles and triumphs. Kimberly will be leading her MotherCircle course this April. Visit here to find out more
