A 4-WEEK MINI COURSE

PRESENTED BY Kimberly Ann Johnson

FEATURING JAYE MAROLLA + 2 BONUS TEACHERS

We start Tuesday,
September 8th!

*Early bird pricing ends Sunday, August 30th at 11:59pm PST!
Claim your ground.
Mobilize your power.
Train your fight response.

We've been declawed and defanged.

And now we're just complying with it.

Would you fight for your life?
Would you fight for your child's life?
Is your life worth living?

The question isn't really what you're going to do about it.

The question is how close you're willing to get to the things that matter
—and how close you'll stay to them.

But you can't do that if you're frozen, fawning, or trained to play weak.

So let's commit to training. Together.

Fighting is misunderstood.

If you have been on the receiving end of violence, of course you don’t want to hurt anyone else.

We don’t train to hurt people.

We train capacity to be available and ready for all situations. We train for our LIVES.

We train to be trustworthy allies.
We train for coherence.

We train for when shit gets really hard.

We train for our health.

Kimberly Ann Johnson practices Jaguar Fight Club.

Reasons to train:

  • For every time you froze, and fantasized later about fighting back…

  • For every time you played “nice” and felt simmering rage beneath it…

  • For every boundary that got crossed…

  • For the raise you earned but couldn’t bring yourself to ask for…

  • For every time you weren’t believed…

  • For every time no one heard you…

  • For every time you were treated like a doormat…

  • For every time you walked away resentful, infuriated, and silent…

  • For the shame and self-incrimination that followed—when you made yourself wrong (again)…

  • For the version of you who was too young, too small, too scared to fight back…

  • For every woman whose boundaries have ever been crossed…

  • For every woman who has swallowed her truth and anger to keep the peace.

  • For our daughters and our daughters’ daughters, so they will know how to defend themselves and claim their ground…

Join 18,500+ Jaguars who have
walked this path! 🐾

What happens when you train activation?

It trains you to be ready. To be nimble. To know when to puff up, when to store energy, when to walk away, when to lie down.

To see a target, and to move towards that target.
And when you miss, to move towards it again. And again.
ESPECIALLY if it’s a moving target.

And sometimes reevaluate the target.

But to get out of ideology, and philosophy and test it all in the realm of the physical. And then live into the political.

Because of your physical capacity.

Become coherent.
It's possible.
It's necessary. It's now.

You change the room.

You make the room safe.

You flip the script.

You create the dynamic.

You become an animal.

You become an adult.

You wanna be a Jaguar, you gotta train.

It's not just one class, one round.

I’m training this fight response and my blind spots all the time.

This has to do with our relationship to the ground, to our stance, to our center, and to our voice.

“Kimberly's work has opened a ferocity
I didn't know I had in me.

Articulation, clarity, and standing up – oftentimes, before I have a moment to doubt myself.

A life of constantly wandering too far out of my body, and now I have the tectonic skills to keep me here.”

"I'm exhausted by
setting boundaries."

You are exhausted by NOT setting boundaries.

Or not setting believable boundaries.

Or you are exhausted by setting prescribed generic boundaries with words.

Or you are exhausted because your mind is telling you that you shouldn’t have to set the boundaries, or take the lead. That the world should just already know what you can’t communicate.

Mobilizing power in your body, and communicating through that power, is energizing.

Your body is sending the signals of what you are up for, what you aren’t up for.

Kimberly Ann Johnson & Jaye Marolla practice Jaguar Fight Club.
Jaguar Fight Club, a 4-week Mini Course with Kimberly Ann Johnson.

Training a fight response is one of the most effective ways of communicating believable boundaries.

Don’t show your power.
Know your power.

Meet Your TeacherS

Kimberly Ann Johnson

Kimberly Ann Johnson is a Sexological Bodyworker, Rolfing Structural Integrator, Somatic Experiencing practitioner, retired yoga asana teacher and trainer, birth doula, postpartum advocate and mom to a 19 year old.

Kimberly has been practicing yoga in the Krishnamacharya tradition since 1993, studying personally with three of the lineage holders- Desikachar, BKS Iyengar, and Pattabhi Jois. She taught yoga fulltime between 1999 and 2014, training teachers in Brazil, Thailand, and the US.

She began as an uncoordinated dancer, until she hit 13 when she could finally keep up with some basic choreography. Tenacious and in love with movement, she went on to dance in LA, Chicago, and New York. When she reached the dream of auditioning for Debbie Allen, she decided to retire and dedicate her life to yoga. These days she trains with Jaye Marolla and Taylor Garrison, and gets to as much dance as possible with Eric Geiger. She loves a good movement rabbit hole when she can find one- some of those have been Feldenkrais and Gaga.

Kimberly is the author of the upcoming Erotic Seasons: Tuning into the Rhythms of Women’s Sexuality and Spirituality (St. Martins Essentials) to be released Nov. 17, 2026), Call of the Wild (HarperWave, 2021), The Fourth Trimester (Shambhala, 2017), Reckoning (2021) co-authored with Stephen Jenkinson, and the audio series Reclaim the Feminine (Sounds True, 2022).

Kimberly is the founder of MotherCircle and the creator of Mothering the Bones, dedicated to initiatory rites and lay practices as culture work. She is the host of the Sex Birth Trauma podcast started in 2017, with over 1.3M unique downloads.

Co-conspirator, qi gong/martial arts TEACHER,
& training partner

Jaguar Fight Club Guest Teacher, Jaye Marolla.

Jaye Marolla

Jaye Marolla is a somatic educator, martial artist and bodyworker, and the founder of YINDOJO and YinWarriorship.

She currently offers movement classes and intensives in Santa Fe, New Mexico, throughout the U.S. and internationally. She also work privately with groups, organizations and individuals offering applied somatic programs in person and online.

Jaye weaves applied Daoism and conscious eros through vitality based teachings within a framework of experiential collaborative leadership and somatic activism. Her approach is shaped by years of living and studying abroad in Ghana, China, Thailand, West Africa, Central Asia, and England. In China and Thailand, she immersed herself in the study of martial arts and healing practices, and how the intertwining of the two branches originates from the same root. She became fascinated with lineage based practices and knowledge that travels tacitly through transmission and embodied nuance.

This is a mini intensive on the response Fight.

Jaguar is not a one-and-done experience. It’s necessary to revisit and live the practices that tend to be exponentially more powerful in a group context, even if online.

Women are afraid to fight. We’re taught that all responses are equal—that’s true, but let’s stretch the possibilities and train our reflexes and responses. We bring everything to the psychological—the feeling, the describing, the talking—but there’s something much deeper communicating how we will be treated and who has access to us. In these times, we need to have each other’s backs. It’s also powerful to know what you want, to machete shit out of your way so that you can get to it.

Each class can stand on its own. So come live whenever you can.

There are many people who are athletes, dancers, and yoga teachers, who are wondering why that’s not helping their trauma. I get it. I was all of those things, and I still needed a 3 year nervous system training to understand why I felt underwater much of the time, and above water less of it. Just because you are moving or exercising doesn’t mean you are getting the benefits of re-signifying the events of your life, finding new narratives, and reconstructing your sense of self.

The mini-course is currently $99 for everyone – our lowest rate. Prowl in now without a code.
