SUMMER SCHOOL

Starts Tuesday, July 8th

A 6-week online parenting and nervous system course for mothers with Kimberly Ann Johnson and guest teachers

The world is topsy turvy. Unpredictable. Chaotic. Beautiful. Hard to wrangle.

And you’re holding so much.

You’re not just modulating your own energy. You’re modulating the energy of your family.

You’ve become the emergency contact, the emotional center, the meal planner,
the rule-maker (and breaker).

You’re the one keeping it all together.

And it feels like: if one more thing happens, you might not be able to handle it.

But you do.

Who is holding you?

That’s where Jagamama Summer School
comes in. This summer is for you.

What is Jagamama summer school?

a 6-week online parenting and nervous system course for mothers
a holding zone for you to come and be able to let go and let down
a healthy sense of routine- a tether to rhythm and nourishing roots in a season of erratic schedules
a live impromptu inspired bear-it-all and kneel down kind of experience
a high quality dose of inspiration and tools from experienced mothers and teachers who work with mothers

We will practice the skills of grounding, centering, healthy authority. We will practice getting coherent.

We will address some of the major themes of parenting in these times that seem to be multiplying by the minute.

What this is...

This is nervous system recalibration for the mothers raising the future.

This is nervous system savvy in tracking your own and learning how to guide those around you.

This is a high potency container for you to recharge. For you to get even more connected to your own values and your own center.

An energy refill station.

This is a place for you to stop letting guilt lead and start leading from a clear, and moving, center. So that your children learn how to do the same.

You’ll learn how to navigate modern motherhood with more capacity, more clarity, and more community – without needing to fix yourself or become some idealized version of “regulated”.

What this is not...

  • This is not a parenting method.

  • This is not a gentle reminder to take time for yourself.

  • This isn’t a pat on your head to tell you how hard everything is and reinforce a victim narrative with no tangible solutions.

  • This is not recycled IG style nervous system tips, and basic questions like “what are you noticing in your body right now?”

"This was the first space where I truly felt witnessed. And the act of witnessing others moved me to my core."

“I discovered a language for my experiences postpartum and in mothering. I found connection in stories shared that helped me make sense of my motherhood journey—for the first time in four years, I didn’t feel like there was something wrong with me.”

This course is
for you if...

  • You’re uneasy about the world your children are inheriting — but still want to prepare them for it.
  • You know that you are overcompensating, because you feel guilty or ashamed about certain life circumstances and you want to get back to a place of healthy authority.
  • You feel the tension between letting kids be kids and teaching them to survive.
  • You’ve read the parenting books but still haven’t been able to shift exhausting power dynamics.
  • You’re mothering toddlers, teens, or grown kids — and no one around you sees the full picture.
  • You’re holding the line alone (no family nearby, no rituals to lean on).
  • You’ve adopted, been adopted, or mother outside of traditional structures.
  •  You know that changing your own nervous system will impact the nervous system of your child and your household.
  • You are suspect about parenting books and parenting methodology, but deeply desire community and a connection to your own discernment.
  • You are a wild woman, or wish you were.
  • You are getting your ass handed to you on the regular by mothering (me too!)

Got questions?

MotherCircle is a 4-week, 8-class course that guides you through an arc of the physical, mental, emotional, sexual, spiritual, and archetypal journey of becoming a mother- no matter how recent or distant that transition was for you. It guides you through the integration of your birth experience, provides you with the tools to put your own story together, and offers community that practices mirroring and containment.

Jagamama is 6 weeks of “summer school” with me and a powerhouse lineup of guest teachers. It’s Jaguar skills X parenting. I’ve been on the Jaguar path for 13 years, and over 8,000 women have dared to walk it with me. 🐆 Walking the Jaguar path means doing the work to repattern your nervous system, knowing how to track your own nervous system (so others don’t have to), and how to read and guide others through their nervous system cycles and responses.

While MotherCircle includes one class called MotherJaguar, Jagamama is the deep dive. Jaguar skills are vital for mothers as we are not just modulating our own energy, we’re modulating the energy of the household.

This isn’t based on a parenting style- it’s based on nervous system physiology and understanding. (I’m not a parenting expert, but I am passing on what we know about nervous system coherence and family structure, and the expertise of these guest teachers.)

The price of this course is about the same as 3 bodywork or therapy sessions. Do you need this support? Or do you need some other kind of support?

Don’t pay for this instead of rent or food. If you have a currency challenge, write to ad***@****************on.com.

If you’ve been circling this course, take note of what about Jagamama is calling to you, what you need, and make a plan to get that somehow.

In internet land, we say “lifetime” access. I like to say ’til I die’ or ’til I no longer have an online business’. So the answer is “for the foreseeable future.”

Absolutely not, all participation is optional. However, the FB group is a great reflection, digestion and connection space for mothers of all different ages, life cycles and backgrounds.

There are 11+ classes total July 8 – August 12: Tuesday anchor classes with me, Thursdays are guest teacher classes. Most people can’t attend all 11+ classes live.

If you can’t attend any of the 11 classes live, then this depends on your digital habits. Be real with yourself. Do you have a tactic or habit for you to watch the recordings? If it’s going on the digital pile, don’t do it to yourself. You’ll just feel guilty you spent the money and didn’t do it. If you like to watch recordings and have that habit, then yes, let’s do this.

Ultimately this is a gut decision. Choose with your nervous system based on who you are, not who you want yourself to be.

I hear you. So my question to you is if you will connect with wise women in-person where you are. Do you have the support that you need?

If you don’t, then I recommend coming into this groundswell of hundreds of mothers, so that you can draft on the energy when you need to.

What mothers are saying...

“It gave me concrete tools for dealing with overwhelm, wisdom for navigating motherhood in general, the felt and known sense that I’m not alone on this journey, even the aspects that feel unique to me (and therefore isolating).”

– Janelle

“I appreciate your raw and blunt honesty about your own mothering journey and your experiences with other mamas. I really appreciated hearing that we are never supposed to be enough because raising a child is supposed to be shared with a village. This lifted a lot of unnecessary pressure and guilt I was feeling.”

— Stacy Howell
