Calling all women ready to stop people pleasing and stop playing small… IT’S TIME TO TAKE UP SPACE!
Stop Fawning + Trying to Fit In
A 4 week nervous system mini course
with Kimberly Ann Johnson
Begins March 10th
Females are wired differently than males.
The social nervous system developed for mammalian attachment-
the mother-baby dyad.
We are more aware of and care more deeply about tending to social bonds than men.
We are primed toward group harmony.
They are our first line of defense- before freeze, flight or fight.
Social ostracism, the cost for not fitting in, is a survival level threat for women.
Underneath people pleasing and fawning is often unexpressed grief or rage, an untapped sense of self worth and courage.
It is a terrible feeling to be disempowered, infantilized, and blocked by our own hormonal disposition and conditioning.
It’s critical you know the difference between connection and enmeshment. Between harmony and people pleasing. Between fitting in and belonging.

When we fawn and fit in, we trade our vitality for a false sense of security and belonging.
We inhibit, minimize and become hyper-vigilant.
We are building a social nervous system where we can tolerate difference, move towards sovereignty, and stay connected.
You feel more comfortable in your own skin.
You stop second-guessing what you think and what you say.
You minimize vulnerability hangovers.
You dare to dream and to move on those dreams.
You forgo competitive victimization to fit in.
You move from your center. You embody your values, rather than what others expect.
You take steps forward with your art and expression, making the big moves.

MEET YOUR TEACHER
Kimberly Ann Johnson has been teaching embodiment for the past 25 years. For the past 15 years, she’s been helping women heal from birth injuries, gynecological surgeries and sexual boundary ruptures. She teaches online courses to tens of thousands of women (18,000 and counting) helping restore the healthy fight response to the female nervous system called Activate Your Inner Jaguar. She teaches in-person intensives and trainings in the US and the UK. The Jaguar courses are prerequisites for the in-person work.
She is the author of Call of the Wild (HarperWave, 2021), The Fourth Trimester (Shambhala, 2017), Reckoning (2021), co-authored with Stephen Jenkinson, and the audio series Reclaim the Feminine (Sounds True, 2022) as well as the upcoming Erotic Seasons: Tuning into the Rhythms of Women’s Sexuality and Spirituality (St. Martins, 2026).
Kimberly is the founder of MotherCircle and the creator of Mothering the Bones, dedicated to initiatory rites and lay practices as culture work. She is the host of the Sex Birth Trauma podcast started in 2017, with over 1.5M downloads.
Classes will be recorded, so you can watch at your convenience.
This is a mini intensive on the fawning + fitting in responses.
Jaguar is not a one-and-done experience. It’s necessary to revisit and live the practices that tend to be exponentially more powerful in a group context, even if online.
Females are predisposed towards the fawning and fitting in responses because of our hormonal makeup and social conditioning. I want women to have better births, better sex, better relationships and full access to their voice, power and predator ferocity. Understanding fawning and fitting in, and dropping into the animal body, is critical to this mission.
Each class can stand on its own. So come live whenever you can.
Healthy aggression is ambition and forward moving drive. Passive aggressiveness is a social nervous system + sympathetic fight response. Low-grade irritation, simmering anger, resentment and boiling rage are nervous system fight responses under threat. When you learn to stand up and stand out, these responses, when not accurate and responsive to the situation at hand, fade away. You learn to move from your center.
You can share about your journey and ask questions in the Magas and Jaguars Facebook community.
Jaguar Alumni get half off regular price ($199) which is $99, our early bird rate. Prowl in now at the early bird rate- no code needed at this time.
