MYTHOPOETICS & FEMININE SEXUALITY

May 5 – 28, 2026

‘Til Sunday, April 19th at 11:59pm Pacific

LIVE A BIGGER STORY. LIVE A WIDER STORY.

What is your relationship to the feminine?

Is the word “feminine” outdated?

Is polarity relevant to these times?

We’ve arrived at the end of where a trauma framework can take us.

Inside myth, human difficulty and tragedy are regarded
as part of the human journey.

How do we dance with our wounds?

Does our worldview have space for monsters?

I’m not here to tell someone what it means to be a woman
or to be feminine or what the Feminine is or to define healthy sexuality.
I’m here to be in inquiry.

I’m here to explore the range of the ways that our female body
and sexuality have codes for our spiritual path, and a mythopoetic framework
relieves us of some of the shame matrix so that we can live a wider story.

For me, a feminine path includes revering the female body
as unique, and not derivative.
It means honoring our erotic seasons,
movement, community and the Earth.

There’s a paradox.

We need to claim our female forms and learn them in all their power.

AND

We need to move beyond
personal narratives.

Most of us are living within a “dead” or “old” story – global warming and societal collapse, the absence of the village, the transhuman agenda, the race to colonize Mars.

Is this the cosmology we want our children to inherit?

Do we want personal “healing” to be our life’s work?

How do we prepare our children for a changing world while giving them roots to graft to?

How do we protect the integrity and vitality of the female body and Earth in these unprecedented times?

We need story.

We need counter-myths to help us engage more thoroughly with the circumstances around us.

These are myths to deepen roots.

The good news is that as dark as the times may seem or be,
we don’t have to invent a story.

We can learn and lean on ancient stories and practices.

Before trauma healing, there was dance,
music, art, ritual and movement.

Explore counter-myths and the
many faces of the feminine.

What is Activate Your Inner Jaguar:
Mythopoetics & Feminine Sexuality?

a 4-week online journey into the connective tissue of myth, the power and range
of the feminine, and nervous system skills for the female body in modern times

• an anchor for you to re-member a cosmology before the age of information
(All the information in the world will not give you wisdom.)

a tether to rhythm and nourishing roots in times of escalating challenge and change

a high quality dose of inspiration and truth-telling from grounded teachers,
mothers and guides who are attuned to something deeper

Together, we will retrace our roots through myth and muse.

We will activate our female instincts and sharpen radical discernment.

We will stalk the intersection between
the archetypal and the personal.

What this is...

  • This is widening the lens from trauma to reality, from the personal to universal. (Ironically, collective myth does give deeper meaning to our personal narratives.)

  • This is a call to maturation. This is taking an oppositional gaze to the overculture’s infantilization and pathologization of the female body and female rites of passage.

  • This is dropping an anchor and moving your attention (and having it moved too).

  • This is a place for you to stop circling your wounds and tap into a wider inheritance.

  • This is a foundation of discipline, which isn’t often considered a feminine principle – but sometimes precision in form is what we need.
  • This is female nervous system savvy for you and generations to come.
  • This is a high-potency container to recharge your erotic nature and spirit.

This is a female-led dive into female lineage and cosmology.

What this is not...

This is not a way to bypass reality through myth.

This is not a one-size-fits-all map for “embodying the feminine”.

This is not a Jungian lens on mythopoetics or the heroine’s journey.

This is not a container that elevates women and denigrates men. We will honor and respect men and maleness.

What stories are you telling the children? What stories are they hearing?

“When I found your work, I was in the trenches of the most intense insomnia I had ever experienced.
It was in the wake of taking myself off SSRI’s after 13 years. I was following an impulse & a curiosity.
But I had no idea how to be in my native nervous system. I had no idea how to tend to the intensity of the shift.

You showed me how.  And it wasn’t just the practices & tools but also your embodied style of teaching.

The artistry of oral transmission.”

In this course, we will attend to the inquiries of…

  • How to meditate to wake up and provide clarity of mind (not to lull us into inaction or dullness).
  • Why the mythical is deeply personal and vice versa. (And why the political is deeply personal and vice versa.)
  • Why evil and monsters merit a place in mythology and creation stories.
  • How to embody ferocious compassion (not idiot compassion) and how to hold a hard line.
  • Ancient models for being brave enough to interrupt patterns based on reality as it is being presented.
  • How to ground your female nervous system – even when the world is burning.
  • How to stay tethered to a deeper current when life gets erratic and demanding.
  • Tools for navigating an overstimulated, touch-deprived world.
  • Radical discernment and devotion to reality. Fierce resistance and deep surrender.
  • Why turning to myth can make you more effective in material life, not less.
  • What is required or asked of us for female rites of passage– menarche, birth, fertility, and menopause.
  •

We cannot outrun the overculture.

But that doesn't mean we stop trying.

Rebuilding culture is the work of generations.

It's time to open a different artery.

Jenny Terbell is a mother; writer; and meditation, breathwork and sacred feminine teacher. A devoted student of Tibetan Buddhism, she finds endless comfort and inspiration in the Buddhist teachings on the awakened heart, that part of us that is open, compassionate, and wise.

She met her spiritual teacher Lama Tsultrim Allione in 2009 and took refuge with her. Following her teacher in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, she is studying in the lineage of Machig Labdron, a Tibetan woman who lived and taught the Dharma 1000 years ago in Tibet, and, like Tara before her, achieved complete realization in a female body. Jenny is an Apprentice Teacher for Lama Tsultrim Allione at Tara Mandala.

She is a student and Numa Trained facilitator in the somatic arts of breath and movement. She offers individual and group sessions that incorporate a variety of disciplines which lead to deeper embodiment and purpose, such as meditation, breathwork, and a trust in the healing power and innate wisdom of the Sacred Feminine.

Dr. Chanti Tacoronte-Perez is a Cuban-American artist-author, ritualist, and non-clinical depth psychologist. She believes that images speak a profound language; her life’s work is a translator of the unseen and an advocate for the imaginal. She holds two master's degrees in Engaged Humanities and Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. In 2023 she completed her doctoral dissertation Navegando Liminal: Rituals to Translate the Image of the Wound. Her work and teaching follows and welcomes imagination, creativity, dreaming, and deep rest.

Jaye Marolla is a somatic educator, martial artist and bodyworker, founder of YINDOJO and YinWarriorship. She offers movement classes and intensives in Santa Fe, New Mexico, throughout the U.S. and internationally. She is the co-founder of Soma Collective in Santa Fe

Perdita Finn is the co-founder, with her husband Clark Strand, of the feral fellowship The Way of the Rose, which inspired their book The Way of the Rose: The Radical Path of the Divine Feminine Hidden in the Rosary.

In addition to extensive study with Zen masters, priests, spirit workers, and healers, she apprenticed with the psychic Susan Saxman, with whom she wrote The Reluctant Psychic. Perdita Finn now teaches popular workshops on Getting to Know the Dead. Participants are empowered to activate the miracles in their own lives with the help of their ancestors and recover their own intuitive magic. Her book Take Back the Magic: Conversations with the Unseen World is an intimate journey through her recovery of these lost ways. She speaks widely on how to collaborate with those on the other side, on the urgent necessity of a new romantic animism, and on the sobriety that emerges when we claim the long story of our souls.

Perdita's newest book Mothers of Magic: Summoning the Wisdom of Our Ancestors (Hachette Book Group) releases May 5, 2026. Radical and restorative, Mothers of Magic is an intervention for our time and a map back to the maternal wisdom that has always been ours – a path toward true connection and the deepest sources of love.

She lives with her family in the moss-filled shadows of the Catskill Mountains.

This course is for you if:

  • You are a somatic practitioner or therapist who wants to learn how to tell a story that becomes alchemical and transformative.
  • You are a doula, midwife, prenatal yoga teacher or bodyworker tending the thresholds and needing a place to recharge.
  • You are a human longing for roots, groundedness, and lineage.
  • You know that personal narrative is limited and you’re ready to expand into a story that doesn’t revolve around the central axis of “me.”
  • You are weary of a trauma framework or psychoanalysis.
  • You’re uneasy about the world your children are inheriting – but still want to prepare them for it.
  • You hunger for a wider cultural lens that has space for tragedy and beauty alike.
  • You are a wild woman, or wish you were.

Move beyond the cult of individualism
and into mythic territory.

Got questions?

This is a one-of-a-kind course that I’ve never taught.

The closest thing to it is Reclaiming the Feminine (Sounds True Audio Program) and Forging a Feminine Path (a 6-lesson embodied exploration of women’s spirituality and sexuality- taught in 2019).

It’s unlikely that I’ll ever teach this again.

Like other Activate Your Inner Jaguar courses, we are working specifically with the female nervous system, female body, and a female lineage. The female body is not derivative- she has her own properties, working principles, and expression.

This round of Activate Your Inner Jaguar is a month-long intensive, so shorter than some of the 6-week runs in years prior, but equally potent with 3 gatherings per week- starting with Monday meditations with Jenny Terbell, Tuesday anchor classes with me, and Thursday guest teacher classes. This lineup is next level.

At the end of each call, I often have time for questions. The Facebook group is also a place for questions specific to the material we are working with.

If you think you can’t afford the course, here are some things to consider:

It’s 4 weeks, 9+ classes total, and experiences that are rare and hard to find.

The price is about the same as 2 or 3 bodywork or therapy sessions, depending on where you live. Yet you’re getting more than 9 live opportunities to be in a large group of women who are deeply committed to embodiment, feminine lineage, and culture work. You’ll get lifetime access to recordings, so you can return to these teachings as needed.

If you can’t pay your rent or don’t have money for food, it’s not the right time. If it would cause you a lot of stress to make the payments, it’s not the right time.

But if you’re hungry for a deeper web of connection, myths to deepen roots, and a wider aperture of what it means to be female, this course is definitely for you.

If you have a currency challenge, write to admin@kimberlyannjohnson.com.

“Lifetime” – meaning til I die or the internet implodes.

Absolutely not, all participation is optional. However, the FB group is a great reflection, digestion and connection space for females of all different ages, life cycles and backgrounds.

I hear you. So my question to you is- are you gathering in intergenerational circles of women? Do you have role models who reflect the breadth and width of the female experience? Do your daughters? (Social media narrows our scope of female embodiment. A top complaint of teenage girls is that social media projects one “right” way to be a female.)

Do you regularly connect with wise women in-person where you are? Do you have the support that you need? Do you know myth and story that anchor your sense of wholeness, belonging and female purpose?

If you don’t, then I recommend coming into this groundswell of hundreds of females across ages and life phases, so that you can draft on this energy and mythopoetic inspiration when you need to.
